Welcome to Our Church

Welcome to Magnolia Full Gospel Baptist! We are a group of ordinary people that serve an extraordinary God! The vision of the house is derived from Isaiah 1:19-20 that declares “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel ye shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.” Our visionary, Prophet Milton Coats, casts forth the vision that the people of God can experience promise land living in the here and now!

The Prophet Speaks

I Corinthians 15:20 says “But now is Christ risen from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept.” What does this verse mean when it says Jesus is the first fruits of them that slept? Jesus was not the first person to be raised from the dead. Actually, there are eight individuals in scripture who were raised back to life. There are three in the Old Testament: the widow’s son in I Kings 17, the Shunammite’s son in II Kings 4, and the dead man who was thrown in the tomb of Elisha in II Kings 13. There are three in the Gospels: Jarius’ daughter in Mark 5, the widow’s son in Luke 7, and Lazarus in John 11. There are two in the Acts: Tabitha in chapter 9 and the young man who fell from a window in Acts chapter 20.
